Melody vs. Lyrics

I'm so sick of love songs, really. Okay maybe that's just cause I'm #foreveralone. But seriously, aren't you?! True that the melodies are beautiful, but the lyrics? Blerghh.

First, it's Someone Like You by Adele. "Nevermind I'll find someone like you." is this for real? You wanna find someone like that again? You wanna get your heart broken again? And don't you pity the next guy you'll be with? Obviously you won't love him for who he is, he's like a shadow of your ex and it's just so mean of you to do that. As for me, no way. I'd never wanna find someone like him. I want someone better, someone who really loves me, not making me as the second choice.

Next is Love You Like A Love Song by er er is it Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato? Whatever. You definitely know that song right. "Love you like a love song" "keep hitting repeat". Now tell me, how many times can you possibly repeat that song before you get bored? So you see the person you love for a few times, and get bored, so you'll just stop loving that person?

Also Putus by Melda Ahmad. "Aku ingin kau tahu betapa ku gembira, tidak lagi bersamamu. Namun pastinya nanti kau akan sedari, yang kau perlu cintaku." Okay this song, hmm takde la disagree sgt but still.... The song kononnya she already moved on, with a new guy who definitely loves her more, then why nak kena fikir about her ex lagi? Why would she care if he regretted breaking up with her? He no longer matters in her life. If memang dah move on and she really loves the current guy, she wouldn't waste a second writing that song to make her ex realize it was his loss.

Okay I guess that's enough examples of sickening lyrics of love songs. But still I can't help loving them though. Haha. I'm not a hater of any of those singers okay. I love those songs, it's just that the lyrics are blerghhh.
