The day I met you, I found a friend.
A friendship that I pray will never end.

Your smile; so sweet so bright,
Keep me going When day was as dark as night.

You never judge me,
You understand my sorrow,
You tell me it needn't be that way.
You taught me how to love myself,
You make the torturous life bearable,
You give me the hope of a better tomorrow.

There were times when we didn't see eye to eye,
There were days when both of us cried,
But even so we made it through,
Our friendship hasn't yet died.

Circumstances have pulled us apart,
We are separated by miles.
Truly, the only thing that keeps me going
