It's a lesson well learnt from a story I heard when I went back to my hometown yesterday. My aunt was robbed at her own house by someone whom she thought she could trust. Here's how the story goes.
At first, both my uncle and my aunt were home when a guy, a stranger came. He introduced himself as someone who came from KL. He was there (Perak) because of his brothers and his grandfather or some craps like that. He came to that house for a few times that week.
One fine Friday afternoon, when the Muslim guys were off for the Friday prayers, that dude came again. Thinking that she knows him well enough already, she opened the door for him. At that time, my other aunt, who is her neighbor was there too. So first he asked my other aunt about her husband, she told him he has passes away. Then he asked my aunt where's my uncle that he talked to the other day? So my aunt said he's off to the mosque.
Right after that, he took out a knife and snatched my aunt's gold necklace. Since my other aunt was busy screaming for help, he calmly walked to his car and left for he knew no one was around at that time.
Poor my aunt. She's very old already. If I'm not mistaken she's around 80? She's very old, she's my mom's eldest sister and my mom is the youngest in her family. If my mom was still here, she'd be 55 this year. So yeah, I think my aunt is around 80 years of age.
That dude is definitely one heartless selfish human being who doesn't even deserve to be called a human. The police is still trying to trace him, I hope they'll succeed. Tapi if dia terlepas dekat dunia, dekat akhirat takde tempat dah dia nak lari.
So please, ladies especially, just don't simply trust a stranger that easily. Semoga kita sentiasa berada dalam jagaan Allah, dalam lindungan para malaikat. Before keluar rumah, make sure baca ayat kursi. Baca semua doa-doa sebab memang hanya pada Dia je kita boleh minta perlindungan.
Inshaallah, kita doakan keselamatan untuk diri sendiri, family dan semua orang. Amin.
