Obviously they have to smell nice, look at the proximity of a dentist with the patient during any procedure!
So when I enter a dental school, it is the last thing in my mind that I would meet a course mate who have terrible terrible body odour.
If it's very late in the day, like after clinics or after lunch (though it's still NOT okay since clinics start after lunch for us third years) it might be tolerable though not acceptable. But early in the morning? The very first class of the day and I can smell it all the way two rows behind. God, I swear I've never met anyone with such a terrible terrible terrible body odour!
I mean like, c'mon?! Takkan you don't have any friends sincere enough to tell you to start using deodorants?!! Or like, you know how sometimes when you yourself sweat too much, maybe like after working out and you start to feel uneasy and you would definitely know if you smell, takkan she never feel like that?!
I am always so conscious about it, I will always put some perfume on, especially when I know I'll be getting a patient on that day. Like a lecturer said, no axe effect, it's just enough for my patient to be comfortable in my presence.
Seriously, it stresses me out every time she comes within a radius of 5m around me. Yes, and it's a she. I've had lots of guy friends and none of them smell half as bad as that every when sweating like pigs after playing sports.
This perempuan I cannot stand ah. I feel like sending her an anonymous deodorant gift, seriously.
"That dentist has amazing skills but her armpit smells like shit, but that's okay" says no one ever!
