Makcik jengkel.

When I travel, and I bump into Malaysians who are friendly enough to strike up a conversation, the infamous question is "Study mana?"

More often that not, the look on their face would annoy the hell out of me, especially when she's a makcik, whenever I let out an answer. "India."

And then they'll start asking the same set questions. "Macam mana survive kat sana?" "Lecturer dia ajar boleh faham ke?" "Kenapa tak pergi Mesir ke?"

Makcik makcik sekalian, tolong la jadi sensitive sikit. How do I survive there? I go through hell, crawling through the days waiting for the day where I can leave, looking out for every possibility to escape. Lecturer dia ajar faham ke? If there is one thing that makes me not regret about choosing this place, it's the lecturers. They're the best, like really very good. It's pretty annoying how they treat us like school kids, but it's also good. They're very determined, enthusiastic. And why didn't I choose to go to Egypt? For your information makcik, I chose India over Glasgow, UK. It's my choice, which I regret sikit but life must go on, so if I nak pergi Egypt I would've gone there.

Tiba-tiba rasa nak luah benda ni. Emo kan. Hahaha
