I don't know since when I get hooked up on calligraphy. It obviously started from Instagram explore, where I would watch all the calligraphy videos. Besides admiring the artwork of these godly artistic people, I find it therapeutic. I watched them all without getting bored.
I finally got my hands on the calligraphy brush pens some time back and I've been practising since. It's not really one with the best quality (I really really really wanna get the Tombow Dual Brush Pen set though, will probably get them when I'm back in Malaysia. It's kinda expensive here).
I posted my doodle/practise sheet on my instastory and Syera (one of my bestest ever friend who is also the owner of Floweréka) SAID SHE WANTED TO HIRE ME FOR HER FLORAL BUSINESS!
I was jumping with excitement. I mean, ITS MY FIRST JOB OFFER EVER!! Okay fine la she probably wants to hire me cause I'm her best friend, not purely totally solely for my "talent" but still!
Promised her I'll practise both my calligraphy and water colouring skills (so I can make the prettiest most beautiful meaningful customised cards for you lot!)
Another reason for me to look forward to go home this July. It's gonna be funnn!
