This post is specially dedicated to my former classmate, Arnaz V. Malitam. The image of him smiling when I saw him during Malaysian night is still very vivid, and that was only two weeks ago. Everything happened very vastly, it all seems like a nasty terrible nightmare.
A few days ago we were informed that he was admitted to the hospital due to lung infection and cardiac inflammation. It sounded really bad but at first I thought it wasn't so serious because I know someone who just recovered from the exact same thing. The next day it was told that his condition worsen, brain was damaged and due to that, his kidney was also affected causing accumulation of toxic in his blood.
I believe in miracle, I believe that The Real Doctor is up there, keep believing, keep praying and we were told that there's an improvement in his condition but still, the chance of survival was very low. But still, keep praying!
However when I see his Facebook profile, his birthday just passed, deep inside I know that he won't be around for too long anymore. Remember my theory about your "leaving" date is always somewhere around your birthday but of course it's just my theory which isn't supported with any alibi. Also, another part of me was like "Takkan lah kot. He'll recover."
Sorry I didn't get to be there Arnaz. I'll never forget those moments we shared during KI. We weren't all that close but we were classmates, we were friends. I wish you well, rest in peace you brilliant boy. Keep smiling wherever you are, you'll be on everyone's mind and in everyone's heart. It is such a great loss to the medical field. Greatest condolences to his family, to Awen and Jessie his best friends. Be strong, God loves him more.
